Ab jetzt nur noch vorwärts!

Jetzt habe ich endlich alles verpackt. Morgen geht es los! Ich habe unfassbare 14 Umzugskartons. Drei davon sind allerdings kleine Bürokisten. Eigentlich hatte ich gedacht ich bekomme eine Anhängerkupplung an mein Auto und miete einen Anhänger. Leider hat sich herausgestellt, dass der größte Anhänger, den ich mit meinem Auto hätte ziehen dürfen viel zu klein für meine Möbel wäre. Nun miete ich einen Truck + Tow Dolly und nehme damit mein Auto sozusagen Huckepack.

So in etwa wird das Gespann aussehen. Oh ha, das ist doch ganz schön lang aber was muss das muss. Man darf damit nicht rückwärts fahren. Daher der Tietel, es gibt kein Zurück ;). Ich hab hier soweit alles mit Versicherung, Bank, Post usw. fertig organisiert. Ich hoffe ich hab nix vergessen, ansonsten wärs ja eine super Ausrede nochmal nach Florida zu kommen. Ich bin sehr gespannt auf die Umzugstour. Ich plane 3 Tage ein, hab aber noch keine Hotels rausgesucht, weil ich nicht weiß wie sich das Gespann fährt und wie ich damit klarkomme. Morgen nachdem alles verpackt ist, suche ich die Route raus und diverse Telefonnummern von verschiedenen Hotels, wichtig: mit großem Parkplatz! Mal sehen, vielleicht entscheide ich mich auch um und fahre lieber nachts, wenn die Straßen schön leer sind. Ich werde aber erstmal morgen am Tage losfahren um zu sehen wie es so wird. Mit diesem Gespann kann ich ja auch nicht so einfach bei McDonals vorbeifahren. Ich hab mir daher vorsichtshalber ordentlich Proviant besorgt.

 

Wasser, Orangen, Bananen, Brot, Joghurt, Käse, Nüsse, Chicken Sticks, Obstkonserven im Becher, Kekse und M & Ms. Ich hab auch noch Milchkaffee damit ich unterwegs nicht einschlafe. Ich werde dann wohl von unterwegs berichten wenn das Motel, wo ich mich gerade aufhalte, einen Internetzugang hat. Ich hoffe am Samstag in Galveston anzukommen.
