Galveston, Texas

Ich bin gut angekommen :)! Die erste Fahrt über die Brücke vom Festland auf die Insel wird mir immer in Erinnerung bleiben. Das war ein besonderer Moment. Der Moment wo all meine Erwartungen und die Realität aufeinander trafen. Ich war mir ja so unsicher ob es mir je gafallen könnte nachdem ich in Florida war und es mir so so unfassbar schwer fiel dort loszulassen aber ich finde Galveston wunderschön, jedenfalls das was ich bis jetzt davon zusehen bekommen habe. Es sieht nach Urlaubsinsel aus und fühlt sich auch so an. Überall sind Palmen, Hotels und Restaurants. 

Meine Wohnanlage ist auch sehr schön, sauber und ordentlich und mit Hotelanlagenflair. Ich habe eine Fernbedienung fürs Tor bekommen - gated community. Beim Möbel hochtragen haben mir der Hausmeister und sein Sohn geholfen. Das wäre also auch schon erledigt. Hach, ich bin so erleichtert. Jetzt muss es nur noch halbwegs mit der Arbeit klappen und dann bin ich versöhnt.

Den Tow-Dolly mit meinem Auto habe ich in League City (eine halbe Stunde entfernt von Galveston auf dem Festland) abgeben. Mit dem Anhänger hinten dran hätte sich das nicht ordentlich ausräumen lassen. Morgen fahre ich dann nach League City und gebe den Transporter ab und nehme mein Auto mit. Dann kann ich endlich die Gegend erkunden. Ich bin eben im Dunklen schon mal am Wasser langgefahren aber wie es wirklich aussieht sehe ich erst morgen. Ich erwarte ehrlich gesagt braune Brühe. Ich hab ja gesehen was da an Flusswasser reinfließt: Mississippi, Sabine River und viele viele mehr. Ich bin in den vergangenen drei Tagen über alle Brücken rübergefahren. Das kann gar nicht klar sein. Ist aber nicht schlimm. Die Sonne und die Palmen sind trotzdem hier. Ich habe einen Pool in der Wohnanlage und ich werde mir wahrscheinlich eine Jahreskarte für den Wasserpark hier zulegen.

Innen sieht es auch sehr schön aus. Die Wohnung ist insgesamt etwas kleiner als meine Legends-Wohnung in Orlando. Dort hatte ich 100 m2 und jetzt hab ich 65, die aber vollkommen ausreichen. Sobald alles richtig eingeräumt ist, mache auch davon Fotos. Morgen werde ich mich auch um Stom und Internet kümmern. Leider haben alle meine Nachbarn ihr W-LAN passwortgeschützt. So ein Ärger aber auch ;). Jetzt sitze ich grad bei McDonalds und nutze dieses Internet aber das kann natürlich kein Dauerzustand werden.

Noch was ganz Anderes: Heute und morgen gibt es eine besondere Planetenkonstellation zu bestaunen. Jupiter, Venus und Mond fast auf einer Linie. Rein zufällig hab ich das von meinem Balkon aus fotografiert.

Google Tranlator: I arrived well :)! The first trip across the bridge from the mainland to the island will always be in my memory. This was a special moment. The moment where all of my expectations and reality clashed. I was so unsure whether I could ever gafallen after I was in Florida and I am so so incredibly difficult for him to let go but I think there Galveston beautiful, certainly the thing I've got to watch them now. It looks like a resort island and feels like that. Everywhere there are palm trees, hotels and restaurants.

My residence is also very nice, clean and tidy with resort atmosphere. I've got a remote control for the gate - gated community. When I wear high furniture the janitor and his son have helped. That would be accomplish that. Hach, I'm so relieved. Now we just have to work with half the work and then I am reconciled.

The tow dolly with my car, I make (half an hour away from Galveston to the mainland) in League City. With the trailer, the rear turn would have not fully resolve properly. Tomorrow I'm going to League City and then give up the van and take with my car. Then I can finally explore the area. I'm long gone just in the dark ever on the water but it really looks like I can see tomorrow. I expect to be honest brown broth. I've already seen what a purely because of river water flowing Mississippi, Sabine River, and many many more. I went over there in the past three days on all bridges. This may not be clear. But is not bad. The sun and the palm trees are still here. I have a pool in the apartment building and I'll probably buy myself a season ticket for the water park here.

Inside it looks very nice. The apartment is a little smaller than my apartment in Orlando Legends. There, I had 100 m2 and now I'm 65, but perfectly sufficient. Once everything is properly given, and make some photos. Tomorrow I'll also take care of Stom and the Internet. Unfortunately, all my neighbors have password protected your wireless. What a hassle as well;). Now I'm sitting at McDonalds and degree of use of this website but this can obviously not be a permanent condition.

Something different: Today and tomorrow there is to admire a particular planetary alignment. Jupiter, Venus and the moon almost a straight line. By pure chance I had to shoot that from my balcony.
