Ich warte immernoch auf Internet. Im Moment sitze ich auf dem Universitätskampus meiner neuen Arbeit und nutze das W-LAN. Heute hab ich meine Mitarbeiter-Chipkarte bekommen und ich habe mir einen Parkplatz gemietet. Leider muss ich hier monatlich 40$ allein fürs Parken abdrücken. Nunja, kann man nicht ändern, ich habs ja so gewollt. Ich hätte ja auch in eine Wohnung dichter am Kampus ziehen können aber dort standen mir die Häuser zu dicht naheinander. Meine Wohnanlage finde ich dagegen wirklich traumhaft. Ich habe echt Glück gehabt, wenn da nicht dieser eine Schönheitsfehler wäre. Warum kann es denn nicht einfach perfekt sein? Nein - iss nicht. Mein Nachbar über mir muss zur Arbeit scheinbar um 4:30 Uhr morgens aufstehen und hat dafür seinen Radiowecker so lang und so laut an, dass ich davon auch wach werde. Ich habe mich schon beim Vermieter beschwert und ich hoffe, dass das dann ein Ende hat. Schlafentzug ist wirklich brutal.
Ansonsten ist es wirklich schön. Mein Ausblick ist der Hammer und die Lage ist auch Ideal. Ein paar Supermärkte und ein Einkaufszentrum sind gleich in der Nähe. Ich habe vom Balkon aus sogar Meerblick, nur ein kleines Fitzelchen aber immerhin. Mein Ausblick, vor allem in Kombination mit der Sonne habe ich gar nicht mehr so das Bedürfnis an den Strand fahren zu müssen. Das wird aber sicher noch kommen wenn es richtig warm ist.
Natürlich habe ich den Strand auch schon abgecheckt und bin in beide Richtungen mal ein Stückchen gefahren. Noch sind Wasser und Luft etwas kühl aber das sollte sich bald geben und dann werde ich sehen, welcher "mein" Strand wird. So übel ist er übrigens gar nicht. Wie erwartet ist das Wasser trübe aber wenigstens ist der Boden fest. Das Wasser wirkt grünlich. Passt schon, ein bisschen wie Cocoa Beach.
In den Dünen gibts sogar ziemlich weißen und feinen Strandsand. Hier sind noch ein paar Fotos von der Anlage:

Ich bin auch schon fast komplett eingeräumt und fast alle Kartons sind ausgepackt. Jetzt muss ich noch den Schuhschrank zusammenbauen und die Bilder aufhängen. Wenn das geschehen ist, werde ich Fotos machen und hier posten. Dann bin ich für diesen Monat fertig. Natürlich habe ich auch eine Wunschliste, wenn dann neue Kohle kommt: 1. endlich ein richtiger Flachbildfernseher! Danach kommt wohl zuerst der entsprechende TV-Unterschrank und dann ein Kopfteil fürs Bett, ein Nachtschränkchen und eine Komode fürs Schlafzimmer.
